My interpretation of this law is that if a case is brought before the court, and the plaintiff cannot prove that the suspect is guilty, the plaintiff will be put to death if the charges brought up agai nst the defendant are of a capital offense. I think this is a good law because it probably had an extremely positive rejuvenate on the honesty of the Babylonian citizens.
